The Farm Shed Heritage Museum features Matta House, the original home of the mine manager for the Matta Matta Mine, highlighting the region’s copper mining history from 1859 to 1923.

The Port Hughes Coastal Trail is a 3.8 km walk that takes about 45 minutes one way. The trail follows the coast, offering scenic views and a glimpse into Port Hughes’ history, named after Captain Walter Hughes, with the town established as a port in 1863.

Lake Bumbunga is a Salt Lake in Lochiel, South Australia, known for its striking colors that change throughout the year from pink to white to blue, depending on the water’s salinity.

Beacon Reserve Lookout offers views of South Beach, Spencer Gulf, and Port Hughes jetty. The restored beacon lights the reserve, which includes picnic tables, interpretive signage, and off-street parking on West Terrace.
